Stahmann Webster’s Leeton facility is by far the largest and most advanced walnut processing plant in Australia. Built in 2014, the operation covers more than 7,000m2 of production and storage area and comfortably processes more than 12,000 tonnes of walnuts each year for nut-in-shell and kernel customers. The operation is Global GAP and BRCGS accredited as required by the world’s leading manufacturers and retailers.
Stahmann Webster’s Toowoomba factory handles both pecans and macadamias on allergen-separated processing lines. More than 80% of the Australian pecan crop is processed here, under the highest Global SQF food safety standards, with products distributed through all major domestic manufacturing and retail channels.
Value-adding is a core activity at the Toowoomba plant, including roasting and salting of macadamias for both wholesale and retail clients in Australia and internationally.
Stahmann Webster’s new factory at Alloway, South Bundaberg, is the future hub of our macadamia processing activities. Built in 2021, our Bundaberg factory provides for future expansion as the Australian macadamia crop grows in the years ahead.
Across all sites, Stahmann Webster is dedicated to the application of a modern, high standard quality management system following all relevant legislation, industry standards and customer requirements. We are fully committed to the efficient production of safe, legal and quality products that are fit for purpose in the modern manufacturing and consumer environment.
Our accreditations include GMP, HACCP, HALAL, Kosher, GLOBALGAP, SQF Manufacturing, SQF Quality, Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) as well as national licences for import and export.
All Stahmann Webster processing facilities maintain a tree nut only manufacturing environment making our products both peanut and gluten free.
